Ikram Hassan is a doctoral student studying Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She has obtained training in various settings ranging from substance abuse treatment to counseling settings to crisis management. She currently also holds a position at the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago working on research and providing diagnostic assessments. Fluent in both German and Somali Ms. Hassan has gained experience working with a variety of clients from multicultural backgrounds. Her dissertation research is focused on the cultural and neurological aspects of trauma.
